Irish Uilleann Pipes are available in ‘B’ - ‘C’ - ‘C#’ and ‘D’ pitch. B C and C# are available as Practice or Half sets, while Concert D is available as Practice - Half - Three-Quarter and full sets. All pipes are made from African Blackwood/Hide Bags/Nickel Silver and imitation Ivory or Boxwood mountings and finished in Chrome; other woods and materials can be used upon request. He also makes Scottish small pipes in A, Bb, C, and D. Ray’s styles, methods and practices have been developed and well-honed over nearly 30 years of pipe-making experience; he can therefore guarantee that every set of Irish Uilleann Pipes or Scottish small pipes he makes will be fully in tune and properly adjusted to all of the expected norms of playing these instruments.
